Arrival Day


You’ll arrive in Accra and be welcomed by a member of our team at the airport. We’ll take you to your accommodation to check-in and relax from your flight. Later in the day the group will come together to meet and greet and enjoy a welcome dinner party.

Culture Day


You’ll embark on an exciting boat cruise tour on the beautiful banks of the Volta River in Akosombo providing you with a fantastic view of the lake, dam and adjoining mountain slope. You’ll arrive at Dodi Island for the perfect island experience topped off with Ghanaian buffet style lunch.
An optional group night out will take place in the evening, allowing you to get a taste of night life in Accra. Please note the night out is optional and all expenses involved are the responsibility of each participant.

Traditional Food Day

You’ll spend a full day exploring the beautiful city of Accra, learning about it’s rich history and why it’s at the centre of Pan Africanism studies.

Relax or Afrochella?


This will be your very own personal free day in Ghana which you can spend as you please, from visiting the beach, to souvenir shopping or why not attend Afrochella festival. .

Makola Market

Shopping Day

Optional activity to enjoy your day at the famous Makola market in Accra, this will be the perfect opportunity for you to shop for souvenirs. You can even print your very own batik fabric as a souvenir. Please note, additional cost for this activity applies if you wish to participate.

History Day

Celebration Day

Optional New Year’s Eve Celebration

You’ll enjoy an early evening dinner at one of Accra’s vibrant restaurants and later on in the evening you will have the option to welcome in the New Year along the ocean in Polo beach club. Please note this activity is optional and expenses involved on this day are at your own cost.

Adventure Day


Your final adventure in Ghana will be a road trip to the Eastern region, make sure not to forget your camera on this day, as you’ll be visiting breath-taking locations.

You’ll be staying in a beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Accra within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, and shops. Your hotel room will be based on two people sharing, if you’re travelling with a friend please let us know if you wish to be allocated to the same room all other room allocations will be at random unless specific preferences are stated. Please note we aim to place the same gender in a room where possible.
