Day one: Arrival day Welcome to Kenya! Your flight will touch down at Jomo Kenyatta International airport. A member of our team will welcome you to the foreign lands and escort you to your accommodation. Here you will have the day to relax and recover from your jet lag.
Day Two: Explorer day The day will start with a visit to Daphne Sheldrick’s elephant orphanage, located in Nairobi National Park. You will get to see the young calves being fed, and learn more about the challenges in wildlife. Next up is an unforgettable dining experience at the Carnivore restaurant. Appropriately named as you will be treated to a buffet selection of different meats, not to mention four choices of game meat. After eating to your heart's content, we will take a trip to the Giraffe centre. Highlights - Nairobi National Park - Carnivore restaurant - Giraffe centre
Day Three Personal day Have a day to yourself to explore Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. Vibrant food markets, souvenir shops and the famous Giraffe manor are some of the top picks in the town. Don’t forget to buy snacks for your train journey to Mombasa the next day.
Day Four Travel to Mombasa The day will begin with a hearty breakfast at your hotel. Our driver will escort you to the Mombasa-Nairobi railway, where you will depart on a 6-hour journey to Mombasa. Put your feet up and take in the scenery. Our driver will meet you at Mombasa station and transfer you to the hotel. The afternoon will be your personal relaxation time. Sunbathe on the beach and get ready for the excursion to the South the following day. Highlights - Travel to Mombasa - Hotel check in Mombasa - Relax by the beach
Day Five Wildlife Day Your first stop in the South Coast will be at Diani beach, voted as Africa’s top beach since 2015. Next we head over to Shimoni, where we will board motorized Dhows to explore the marine park and surrounding waters. The park has a rich diversity of exotic sea life, which you will get a chance to see up close as we stop for snorkelling. We will end the day with a stroll through the exotic Wasini Island and a delicious barbeque seafood lunch. Highlights - Diani beach - Shimoni - Dhow boat experience - Wasini Island
Day Six : Cruise day The Tamarind Dhow is a cruise ship famous for it’s amazing seafood platters and maritime views. Delighted by the stunning scenery, music, and a tasty seafood meal. Highlights - Tamarind Dhow & restaurant experience - Seafood experience Day Seven - Departure Day Trip Completed

Accommodation

All our trips are based on 3-star or 4-star accommodation. All the accommodations we use are carefully selected by our team for their quality, location, service, and facilities. Your room is based on two people sharing unless you book single occupancy. Room allocations will be at random unless specific preferences are stated. Please note we aim to place the same gender in a room where possible, this however is not guaranteed. Due to the nature of group trips and other reasons often outside our control, we are not always able to confirm accommodation details until two months before the trip (sometimes later).

Hotel Check in: Standard check in time in 2pm – Double occupancy is based on a twin room with a maximum two people. Single occupancy is based on a standard room with one person - Flights: Before you book your flights please check where you trip starts and ends in the itinerary. Please note some trips may start and end in different locations- Paying in instalments: a deposit is due upon making your reservation, our team will contact you to set a direct debit for the remaining payments, please note full payment is required before your trip begins- Kindly note we are not able to guarantee a group trip experience for every trip, the size of the group will depend on the number of bookings we receive.
