Welcome to Zambia! Your flight will touch down at Livingstone airport in the Northern region of Zambia. A member of our team will welcome you to the foreign lands and escort you to your accommodation. Here you will have the day to relax and recover from your jet lag.
The day will start with the exploration of Mosi o’ Tunya National Park. The spectacular Victoria falls is located here. Being the largest sheet of falling water in the world, it is bound to take your breath away. After the dazzling waterfall you will be guided through Livingstone Town and its traditional local market. Amongst many other African trinkets, you will have the optional opportunity to buy your own African garment! Choose wisely as this will be your outfit for the trip's closing dinner. Highlights - Mosi o’ Tunya National Park - Victoria Falls - Livingstone Town & Market
Discover the unending beauty of Botswana’s natural habitats and wildlife Botswana is one of the most diverse landscapes in Africa. Here you will spend the day at Chobe National Park, home to Africa’s big five – if you are lucky you will experience the ground trembling as a herd of elephants passes by! You will also be treated to a safari boat cruise in beautiful Botswana. Highlights - Day trip to Botswana - Chobe National Park - Safari boat cruise & Land Safari experience
Victoria Falls is breath-taking from a distance, now imagine being right on the edge. At Devil’s pool you will take an exhilarating swim right by the edge of the falls. Highlights - Devils pool (Swim on the edge of Victoria Falls)
Sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi river. We will set sail on a boat cruise up the river where a variety of birds, elephants, hippos and even crocodiles can usually be spotted. We will wind down the day with snacks, drinks, and a picturesque view of the African sunset to top it all off.
Take a day for yourself to explore Zambia in your own time. The path is up to you but take a look at some of our top recommendations for Zambia: Walk a Cheetah or Lion – Much more thrilling than walking your dog! White-water rafting – Not for the faint hearted. Microlight helicopter ride – Experience the beauty of the area from above. Quad or horse riding – Discover more of the terrain without strain. We can assist you in arranging any of these activities, and more.
Learn more about Zambia’s rich culture and traditions There is no better way to experience traditional African tribal life than visiting an authentic village. Here you will soak up the traditions of the traditional Zambian culture, learn about their customs and chief dynamics. If you are fortunate you will get a chance to meet a chief and see their traditional palace. The village also includes a traditional African crafts market. Here you will have the opportunity to take home a souvenir completely unique to Zambia. Highlights - Village experience - African crafts market
Closing Dinner After touring the unending beauty of Africa for a week, we know you are going to want a hearty meal. You will be entertained with local dancers and African music, complimented by a delicious selection of African cuisine. Complete the authentic dinner by showing off your African garment bought at the beginning of the trip. Highlights - Closing Dinner (option to wear your own African garment)
